One of the South’s most successful businessmen, Timothy J.
Cambias is a majority shareholder in Massey-Fair, an industrial
food brokerage business with offices in Dallas, Nashville,
Charlotte, Ocala and St. Louis, and MacSource, a distributor of
raw material food ingredients to food manufacturers throughout
the Southeast. He is also the founder and past president of National
Industrial Marketing Specialists.
Tim was born in New Orleans. He attended Jesuit High School and graduated with honors from the University at Lafayette Louisiana in 1965. He was a member of the Blue Key National Honor Fraternity, president of the Inter-fraternity Council, president Phi Kappa Theta, and listed in Who’s Who in American Universities, College of Commerce Honor Society. After college, Tim began his business career in 1965 working for the American Can Company, before joining Massey- Fair in 1972.
An avid golfer, Tim is a member of the Ansley Golf Club where he has served as president. His community involvement includes serving as past parish council president of Christ the King. He is Secretary, Sergeant at Arms, and current board member of the Atlanta Rotary Club, and is involved with St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Mercy Foundation, and The Marist School.
Tim and his wife, Mary Jane Moore, have been married since 1967. They have three children, Kelly, Timothy and Katie, and three grandchildren, Sarah, Patrick and Charles.
